The Website

This website summarizes 90,000 km covered on foot—the equivalent of twice the circumference of the Earth. It is a collection of adventures, encounters, emotions, successes, and failures. Across seven continents, these stories and hundreds of photographs bear witness to the beauty and diversity of our planet.

Over the years, the site has grown to include nearly 200 articles and over a thousand images. A redesign became necessary to reorganize the content, improve the design, and allow for full-screen photo displays. I have also taken the opportunity to enrich the site with sections on history, climate, and practical information regarding these magnificent locations.

As with any long-term project, the update is a work in progress. Some texts—in both French and English—do not yet meet the desired quality and are currently being rewritten, while new stories and photos are added regularly.

The Books

Anna and I are currently completing a book on the 300 finest routes in Greece (Kalymnos, Leonidio, Kyparissi, and Manikia), scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2026.

We are also working on two other books about our trail running traverses: the Great Himalaya Trail and the Via Alpina.

The Author

I divide my time between two passions: technology and sport. The former has guided my professional life in France and the United States as a system architect, project lead, and manager. Today, it leads me to explore the field of artificial intelligence.

The latter, sport—which I am fortunate to share with Anna—has taken us to exceptional places and, occasionally, into some “tough spots.” This passion remains as strong as ever. While large-scale expeditions may no longer hold the same appeal as they once did, the mere mention of trail running, rock climbing, or kitesurfing is enough to get us back out there, full tilt.
